In February 2017, Euglena was about to begin a new initiative to prepare for changes in the life stages of its peers, as well as a project to move to a new office in 2018.

"The next new office will have a nursery school for our friends!"

Nagata, a director who is the partition of the project, was enthusiastic.
The establishment of the nursery school Euglena Co., Ltd. will be close to Euglena Group who are currently raising children, but also those who will experience child-rearing and long-term care. Izumo, the president, has long had one goal of introducing an in-house nursery school.

"Let's make a nursery school. I will be in charge!"

Susa, who is in charge of the management department, was the first to make a name for himself.

Susa is a "working dad" who has experience raising children. Originally I was interested in childcare, and I thought, "By setting up a nursery school, I would like to provide my friends with a wider range of future options and a sense of security."

In this way, Susa, who shares the same feelings as Nagata, has begun to Euglena Group's first in-house nursery school.

In April 2017, Susa began to move toward the realization of a nursery school in earnest. While hearing from the organizations that run the in-house nursery school, I started looking for a partner to run the nursery school. In addition, we have already begun conducting case studies by asking a company that has a nursery school in its office to visit.
It was particularly difficult to find a partner, but I received a thank-you word from SSM (Super Strong Mother), a company that runs a childcare business, and asked the company to cooperate with me. It was decided to ask for management.

Since everything was groping, Susa rushed to investigate the laws and regulations related to the establishment of the nursery school and to apply for the subsidy system, saying, "I have to do something about it ...".

However, that didn't go as fast as it could. When the design of the entire office was almost decided, it turned out that the regulations related to the establishment of the nursery school, such as the window area of natural light to enter the nursery school and the distance to the evacuation route, were set more finely than expected. It became impossible to set up a nursery school at the planned location, and as a result, it was necessary to start thinking about the design plan for the entire office.
As expected, Susa and Nagata were about to break their hearts, but thinking of the happy faces of their friends, they investigated the laws and regulations related to the establishment of a nursery school and continued to make persistent adjustments with the office design company. In addition, although it was the most difficult time, we interviewed dads and moms who work with colleagues in the company and decided on the management policy.

And finally February 2018.
In the new office where Euglena moved, an in-house nursery school "Yugurin Nursery School" was added.

Since the nursery school is located next to the office, we have created a space that is comfortable for children, while giving consideration to both children's favorite friends and children's weak friends.
And now, although the utilization rate is still low, some dads and moms who leave their children for temporary childcare or break-in childcare have begun to appear.

"By having a nursery school in-house, Euglena Group members to have more options for their future work styles. Eventually, we will create an environment where they can work with peace of mind near their children. I want to realize it. "

Susa shined her eyes and talked about the future.
