当社と大阪府立大学は、これまでに、 微細藻類ユーグレナや特有成分であるパラミロンの摂取がストレス負荷によって形成した胃潰瘍形成範囲を抑制することを報告しています（2015年7月16日）。
今回の研究成果は、それらの抑制が、ストレス負荷によって起こる酸化障害をユーグレナやパラミロンの摂取により減少させるメカニズムによることが新たに示唆されました。当社では今後も、ユーグレナの医療分野等での利活用や食材としての付加価値向上を目指し、研究開発を進めます。
