　Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Izumo) has been certified as "Select Kanagawa 100", a measure to promote business attraction in Kanagawa Prefecture, for the practical application plan of domestic bio-jet diesel fuel that we are promoting. I will inform you.
　On December 1, 2015, we announced a commercialization plan for domestic biojet diesel fuel for 2020 (hereinafter referred to as "domestic biofuel plan"), and Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. We are planning to build a new biojet / diesel fuel production demonstration plant (hereinafter referred to as "biofuel production demonstration plant") at the Keihin Plant. This time, the new design of the biofuel production demonstration plant was certified as an energy-related industry in "Select Kanagawa 100", so that the subsidy for the investment amount in land, buildings and equipment (5% of the target investment amount) and We plan to receive support such as reduction of real estate acquisition tax.

　・ Business establishment (new): Biofuel production demonstration plant (tentative name)
　・ Location: 1-1, Suehiro-cho, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa (Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. Keihin Factory)
　・ Business purpose: Demonstration of biofuel production using domestic raw materials such as microalgal lipids and non-edible plant lipids
　　Together, we worked to acquire the technical know-how necessary to realize a commercial plant, and became Japan's first bio-jet diesel fuel.
　　Aim to operate a production demonstration plant and put bio-jet diesel fuel into practical use.
