Real Tech Fund, total fund amount of 7.5 billion yen,
To Japan's largest technology-specialized fund consisting only of private business companies

 Euglena Investment Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Akihiko Nagata) is Euglena SMBC Nikko Revanes Capital, which aims to support "Real Tech * Venture". We are pleased to announce that 6 new investors have joined the "Real Tech Fund" and that the fund raising of the first fund has been completed with a total fund of 7.5 billion yen.

 The Real Tech Fund is Japan's largest technology-specialized fund whose investors consist only of private business companies, and each business company that is an investor makes use of the strengths of the investing company as well as the fund through the fund. We will foster real tech ventures with comprehensive support including "people and things".
 JCU Co., Ltd., Toyo Spinning Co., Ltd., CQ Ventures Co., Ltd., Shimizu Construction Co., Ltd., Yoshinoya Holdings Co., Ltd., THK Co., Ltd., Kyowa Hakko Kirin Co., Ltd., Toyo Aluminum Co., Ltd., and Kanetsu Co., Ltd. are venture capital companies. It is the first time to invest in a fund. The new trend of business companies to support real tech ventures through funds is a great opportunity to create new value through collaboration between real tech ventures and each company.
 The Real Tech Fund has invested in nine Real Tech ventures in the one year since its establishment in April 2015, and has already been actively collaborating with private sector companies in investment and training. Going forward, we will continue to focus on the development of innovative technologies that contribute to solving the problems of the earth and humankind by strengthening the support system for real-tech ventures by utilizing cooperation with participating companies that are experts in each field.
