Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Izumo) is a resource productivity innovation plan * 2 based on the Act on Special Measures Concerning Revitalization of Industrial Vitality and Innovation of Industrial Activities (hereinafter referred to as the Industrial Activity Act) * 1. We have applied for certification, but today we are pleased to announce that we have received certification from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. This is the first time that a company listed on TSE Mothers has been certified under the Resource Productivity Innovation Plan.

　The Company has set medium-term management goals of "Euglena foods to 30 billion yen" and "commercialization of bio-jet fuel" by 2018, and is new to achieve the goals. On November 18, 2013, we decided to raise funds by issuing shares.
　The resource productivity innovation plan that has been certified this time will utilize the funds procured from the issuance of the new shares to Euglena foods and reduce the production cost of algae such as Euglena through capital investment and R & D. Through this, we strive to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. With the acquisition of certification, the registration and license tax reduction measures for the capital increase due to the issuance of new shares will be applied.
