日本畜産学会第126回大会（9月17日～20日）にて「リキッドフィードを用いたユーグレナの培養方法の検討」について、北里大学獣医学部と共同で発表しました。
本研究では液状化させた養豚飼料を用いて、ユーグレナを培養することが可能であり、飼料用ユーグレナの低コスト培養技術の1つになり得る可能性が示されました。

当社では今後も微細藻類ユーグレナの飼料利用に関する研究開発を行い、飼料としての付加価値向上を目指してまいります。

日本家禽学会2019年度秋季大会（9月17日）にて「大豆代替飼料原料としてのユーグレナの給与が鶏の成長および腸管粘液に及ぼす効果」について、岩手大学農学部と秋田県立大学生物資源科学部と共同で発表しました。
本研究ではユーグレナを大豆の代わりに鶏の飼料として用いることで、大豆を与えた時よりも、免疫を活性化させる効果があることを確認しました。また、これらの効果はユーグレナの特有成分であるパラミロンが関与していることも確認しました。

当社では今後も微細藻類ユーグレナの飼料利用に関する研究開発を行い、飼料としての付加価値向上を目指してまいります。
