「FTSE Blossom Japan Index」の構成銘柄に2年連続選定

　株式会社ユーグレナ（本社：東京都港区、代表取締役社長：出雲充）は、「FTSE Blossom Japan Index」の構成銘柄に2年連続で選定されたことをお知らせします。

　FTSE Blossom Japan Indexは、グローバル インデックスプロバイダーであるFTSE Russellが作成し、環境、社会、ガバナンス（ESG）について優れた対応を行っている企業のパフォーマンスを測定するために設計されたもので、サステナブル投資のファンドや他の金融商品の作成・評価に広く利用されています。FTSE Russellの評価は、コーポレートガバナンス、健康と安全性、腐敗防止、気候変動といった分野で行われており、FTSE Blossom Japan Indexの構成銘柄である企業は環境、社会、ガバナンスに関する様々な基準を満たしているとされています。
　なお、FTSE Blossom Japan Indexは、年金積立金管理運用独立行政法人（GPIF）がESG投資のベンチマークとして採用するなど、投資家の重要な判断基準として活用されています。

　当社は、2022年にFTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Indexの構成銘柄に選定され、2023年にFTSE Blossom Japan Indexで初選定となりました^※。2023年以降、CO ₂排出量の算定・開示や自社CO₂削減目標の策定、人的資本関連データやコーポレートガバナンス関連開示の拡充、ESGデータブックの公表など、ESGに関する様々な取り組みおよび情報開示の拡充を進めており、今回の選定はこれらの取り組みが評価されたものと考えています。
