Euglena Co., Ltd. x Ginza Kyubei collaboration project "Sushi disappears day" will be held, and a special website and Twitter campaign will be developed.

Euglena Co., Ltd.

 Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Izumo), along with Ginza Kyubei, a famous sushi restaurant in Ginza, Tokyo, may change the habitat of fish due to the progress of global warming and cause the disappearance of sushi ingredients. We will carry out a project to convey sexuality, "The day when sushi disappears."
 The 2019 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) will feature a special website (https://euglena.jp/sushi) that publishes the last day you can eat each sushi ingredient, and a Twitter campaign that allows you to reserve Ginza Kyubei on that last day. ■ Background of this campaign
 Based on our management philosophy of "Health for people and the earth," we are developing bio-jet diesel fuel and cookies containing nutrient-rich microalgae Euglena (Japanese name: Euglena) in the People's Republic of Bangladesh. We are developing businesses aimed at solving social issues such as global environment and food problems. And now, in response to the destruction of the marine ecosystem caused by global warming, we, together with experts, predict the future in which sushi restaurants will eliminate the material in the sea near Japan, and for each material, "the day when sushi disappears" * Was set.
 "The day when the last reservation can be made" at a sushi restaurant, approaching 2035 at the earliest. For the purpose of raising awareness of the crisis, a total of 9 stories that are expected to disappear at the sushi restaurant "Ginza Kyubei" in Ginza, Tokyo will be released on a special website, and the last sushi story that can be eaten. We will start accepting reservations for the day. The target sushi ingredients include familiar ingredients such as salmon, salmon roe, sea urchin, and flatfish.
 Through this campaign, we will provide an opportunity to think about the future of the earth so that we will not create a future where we cannot eat sushi, which is the world-class Japanese food culture.
