● About the origin of the name
The name is a combination of the scientific name Euglena and the characteristic green, with the hope that it can contribute to the global environment as an eco-friendly material and to the health of many people as Green Foods.
● About design
From January 26th to February 10th, 2010, we Euglena university students nationwide to design euglena material image characters. We have adopted the work of Ms. Mayoko Hara of Musashino Art University, hoping that "Yugurin" will be familiar to a wide range of age groups.
