In fact, the group who collected the water at the point where Euglena is likely to be in the Tsurumi River (see the first part at that time) studied Our in order to discover the local Euglena in the scooped water. I came to the room.

To find Euglena (0.05 mm) smaller than hair, yes, use a microscope.
First, start searching for Euglena with a basic optical microscope that is easy to use.

I had a hard time finding Euglena with an ordinary (optical) microscope.
At 12:15, I decided to raise the specs a little and take a look at a microscope with a camera equipped with a high-magnification lens.

"Local Euglena" that I was able to discover
After this, everyone who found four types of "local Euglena" in total.
The Euglena I found this time is different from Euglena Gracilis, which is used by Euglena in various businesses (more than 100 types of Euglena are known).
"Local Euglena" was also found on the Tsurumi River, a river in the suburbs of Tokyo.
Collecting and discovering makes the event almost half a day, and you can do it in no time! That's not to say, but a child (← Euglena) found near me may save the earth's crisis as a new species of Euglena!
