Euglena is a single-celled microscopic algae. It is a unique organism that can accumulate nutrients by photosynthesis and move like an animal by twisting itself. The scientific name of Euglena evolved from the Latin eu that means beautiful and glena that means eyes which was discovered and named by the "father of microbiology", Leeuwenhoek at 17th century.

In our company we are engaged in research & development, production, and sales of Euglena and related products.
Euglena contains almost all of the necessary nutrients that human body needs which makes it a potential functional food component. Furthermore, as euglena can grow by photosynthesis using CO2 and sunlight with little amount of minerals, it attracts attention of scientists as a possible food producer in space.
Moreover, Euglena fixes CO2 by photosynthesis and produces oxygen more effectively than other plants. That is why Euglena is being used as a model organism in researches to reduce the CO2 emitted from electric power plants.
Leveraging these characteristic of Euglena we are trying to cope with and solve the food problem and global warming.
